- You login to Peplocker via your Google account and Peplocker uses your own Google Drive to keep your notes data.
- Peplocker can not read any data in your drive account, other than files and folders that it creates itself.
- No data is ever stored locally on your device. Neither your notes nor your google account data
- You only sign in with your password which is used as the key for a symmetric AES 256 bit encryption - an industry standard.
- When you update your notes, the data is encrypted in realtime and saved in your Google Drive account without being saved locally. This introduces a bit of time delay while saving the changes, but maintains security.
- To lock the app, simply exit from it and when you try to open it again, it will prompt for the password.
- When you lock your phone screen, Peplocker automatically locks you out, thereby adding more security.
